things I adore: shave ice

photo found here

I have an addiction to shave ice and even more than that I love the quest to find THE BEST shave ice in Utah Valley.
In case you are not familiar with this delectable summer treat, I'll explain: very finely shaven ice, amazingly flavorful unique flavors, ice cream and sometimes even cream. It's heaven.

Here are my observations: (sorry I don't know the "names" of these places)

The shack in front of the Scera (State Street in Orem): PRO: AMAZING flavors CON: not as finely shaven

The shack in front of Parley's hardware store ( by Trafalga in Orem): PRO: tax is included CON: not enough flavor

The shack in Spanish Fork (South Mainstreet): PRO: they stack the cups HIGH, get a small CON: ice is a little chunky

The shack in Payson (Across from Smiths): PRO: cheap! CON: they don't offer ice cream

Do you know of any other spots I need to check out? PLEASE, PLEASE, Pretty PLEASE let me know.

I've only been to the one in payson and I love it, it's so cheap. I didn't know they even put ice cream in them, I guess i'll be going to try that, sounds delicious.
