things I adore: frosting

I had some sweet comments about the cupcakes and really I cannot take credit for the beauty of the frosting, thanks though. I've got to share a magic tool with you... are you ready? It's this mechanical pastry bag from William Sonoma. The hubby bought it for me for a birthday and I love this thing. The possibilities are endless and it makes a beginer (like me) frost like a pro. I'm a bit of a perfectionist, so when my swirls don't look perfect, I scrape them off and start over. I find such joy in the perfect frosting job. I'll even do a little victory dance around the kitchen when I've finally made a pretty little swirl. I'm crazy... I know.
