proud fisherman, lake powell 2009It's my youngest brother's 17th birthday today and he totally deserves a shout out. This kid is amazing and I feel so blessed to have him as a brother. Here are a few reasons why:
· he compliments my cooking... always
· he is a really, really good kid, much better than my (other) brother and I were in high school
· he has the best dry sense of humor out there, seriously
· he's got cool hair
· he's a super hard worker
· he is the best snowboarder, skateboarder and wake boarder that I know, this is no joke, people always tell me he is amazing
· he's nice to girls, which is rare for 17 year old boys
· he thinks it's funny to give me awkward hugs and resists telling me he loves me

Mom and Pops Riley said Spence has been a livesaver and an incredibly hard worker in the orchards this year. Who knew such a goofy kid would turn out so well? Probably Uncle Dave.
