Sure I have one-thousand items on the "to-do" list that are more important than arts and crafts time, but I just couldn't help myself. I bought the supplies for the clipboard project months ago when I saw the idea in Martha Stewart Living. I ran into a few obstacles along the way:
obstacle one: 12 x 12 paper is too short to cover the clipboard
obstacle two: a lot of air bubbles when modge podging paper to the board
It was an experiment, but I feel like it turned out pretty well. I love the way modge podge makes the paper look like it's such a part of the board. The grain from the board even shines through.
I decided that those same supplies could cover my mouse pad. That was a success. No air bubbles, but will it be smooth enough for my mouse to move at it's regular pace? I'll let you know.
So I have 3/4 left in the modge podge bottle and I'm ready for more crafting. Ideas?
